Uwezo has made a call to and is working on pilot projects for its blockchain bridge with African Central Banks during the call period for Foundational Central Bank Keepers.
These institutions will go on to join other organizations championing sustainable practices such as sustainable trade and climate adaptation, as well as organizations interested in sharing verifiable impact metrics, as members of The Great Green Bridge.
Member organizations are collectively known as Keepers of The Bridge.
Particular attention will be paid to verifiable impact metrics related to the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals and the African Union's Agenda 2063.
The call for global partners to The Great Green Bridge is set to be made during COP 28 2023, scheduled to be held in the United Arab Emirates from Nov 30 2023 - Dec 12 2023.
